Or Happy Holidays if you’re a crazy liberal or Jewish. It’s Christmas eve and about half an hour before Christmas day. I spent most of today doing nothing which is basically what I do everday anyway. Hope everyone else had a fun time.
A few days left for Christmas
It seems like every year everyone waits til the last minute to shop for gifts. Well, if you’re one of those who are waiting til the last moments here some places you may easily find suitable gifts:
REI – They carry anything and everything that has to do with outdoor activities; clothing, gear, and food. It’s a great place for those ‘out-doorsy’ types. You can even rent equipment for those big snowboarding/ski/camping trips as well.
Fry’s Electronics – If you’re from the Bay Area it’s appearant that Fry’s carry about every kind of electronics equipment for home entertainment, computers, cars and trucks. There are always some sort of deals and sales at Fry’s, check your local newspaper for the up-to-date sales.
Costco – They carry almost everything and in bulk too. The bad part is that to enter you need to have a membership card, you can either apply for one or go with a friend who has one. It’s worth it as you can probably complete a whole Christmas list just at Cosco alone.
Guitar Center – For those up and coming musicians a brand new guitar would be an awesome gift *hint* or a new amp. Guitar Center is like the Fry’s of music. The best part is that you can practically play or try any of the instruments they have in the store.

Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
I’ve never read the books, but I have heard about them. But when I saw the previews for this movie I thought it would just be something along the lines of Harry Potter meets Lord of the Rings. In a sense, the movies does tie in to many of the fantasy movies that we’ve seen, but nonetheless The Chronicles of Narnia holds it’s own.
Four siblings, two boys and two girls, find themselves in the world of Narnia when entering a closet, hence the wardrobe. In the midst of a war between the White Witch and her underlings against the creatures of Narnia the siblings must fight to win. In short, a battle of Good and Evil. Don’t avoid seeing this movie because it’s gear towards children and it’s MPAA rating of PG. It’s definately worth watching. Unlike the other epic fantasy movies, The Chronicles of Narnia doesn’t drag on.

Rockapella Concert
Tonight I attended one of the best musical concerts by some of the best singers, Rockapella. As one of my childhood favorite music group I’ve never been to their concerts, so tonight was all worth while. Not only did we all get to listen to their awesome repertoire of music, but I got to meet them in person. If you never heard of Rockpella I recommend you go out and get their album “Don’t Tell Me You Do” and “Rockapella 2”.
At some bar in Palo Alto
Hanging out with some old high school friends.
Call of Duty
I got to finish Call of Duty over the weekend. The is one of the best World War II video games on the PC. The game is full of action and the pace is fast. The game came out in 2003 and is out-dated compared to recently released ones. There’s a sequel that just came out, but my computer is too old to play it. If you’re looking for a WWII games to play I suggest getting Call of Duty.
Rosco!!!
Rosco, after his bath.
A Bad Morning to Start off
I was awoken early in the morning by my brother telling me my car window has been broken. I rushed outside with my PJs and Rosco (my dog) following me. Lone and behold some punk has punched a hole in the back passenger window. Their attempt to steal anything was futile as there was nothing but chocolate bar wrappers and flyers to downtown clubs events. They tried to take the stereo, but they got as far has taking the plastic covering apart.
If I was to catch the person who did this, there is no telling what I would do to them, but it would definitely involve a wire coat hanger, a sedater knife, and a set of testicles (not mine) :p
4-day weekend
My 4-day weekend comes and an end. Over the past few days I got to watch two movies, as you can see from the two movie reviews, and hung out with some friends. I haven’t gone out in a while, so it was fun getting to play some poker and having a few drinks with them.
